Quiltspace is the trading name of a sole trader business operated by Claire Powell, a natural person based in England and Wales.

If you are emailing about an order or have a specific enquiry then it is very helpful to us if you include your name, telephone and postcode and an order number if you have one.

Important Information about the quilts for sale

The quilts I make are made of 100% cotton.  They have not been previously washed and therefore if you wash a quilt purchased from Quiltspace, there is likely to be some shrinkage and a small risk that a colour may run (I buy high quality fabric and have not experienced colours running).  To minimise shrinkage and/or fabric runs, you should only wash the quilt in cold water.

Making A Purchase

All Prices are shown in Pounds Sterling. Just browse the items for sale and click on any items that you wish to buy to put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

When we have received your order we will send you an email acknowledging receipt.

We accept Visa and MasterCard. If you are shopping from anywhere other than the UK your credit card company should convert the transaction to your own currency at the prevailing rate at the time of the transaction.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

Online purchases and orders made by any other method cannot be combined. They will be treated as separate orders with separate postage charges for each order.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling

Postage and packing charges apply to all items purchased using the electronic shopping basket facility.

We generally send out items, insured to the sale price value by courier. The cost will depend upon the weight and volume of the items ordered and where they are being delivered.

If you give us an incorrect delivery address and a parcel is returned to us because of that incorrect address we reserve the right to charge additional courier charges to cover the re-sending of your parcel to the correct address.  If the parcel is undelivered and not returned to us because of that incorrect address, Quiltspace will not be responsible for your error and will not refund you or send out a replacement item.
