Using up some fat quarters
Quite a few years ago now, I bought a collection of fat quarters from City Quilter in New York, just as it was closing. I have cherished them but the time came to take a rotary cutter to them and put them to use. I fully expected to use them up making a bag which I improv pieced.
But once the bag was finished, I found I had lots more fabric left over so what to make next? I thought some loosely based log cabins would be fun to make and then as the top developed I made two “borders” out of curved pieced lozenges.
