Quilters Guild AGM
Although I’ve been a member of the Quilters Guild on and off for some years, I’d never really participated and certainly never gone to the AGM. But with my weekends much less pressured these days (I can do the washing mid week!), I thought I’d go along particularly as it is the 40th anniversary of the Guild this year. And actually it was great! I really enjoyed meeting lots of other quilters as well as attending the lectures which were really interesting. I’ve bought Paula Doyles Easy Stack Quilts after her enthusiastic and informative talk and was gob smacked by the David quilt. On the Sunday I had a very enjoyable day at a workshop with Helen Howes making a innovative tree wall hanging. Here’s her’s mine is still work in progress.
