Quilt for Sam
I did a bit of “me time” a couple of weekends and went to a fabulous workshop led by Judi Mendlessohn at Sew & So’s. As well as liking the pattern, what also attracted me was it looked as though I’d get a lot of made at the workshop.
I had come across some great horse themed fabrics and thought I’d make a quilt for the grl who helps me out with the horses 4 days a week – we’d be lost without her!
We started off with lots of cutting and making piles of all the different fabrics and then go with sewing the various constituent parts
It went together surprisingly easily
And then it was time for the quilting. I went for a simple meander given how busy the fabric and the pattern were. And got it done in time for Christmas – just!
